Sunbed & Red Light Therapy Equipment Hire
1. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit. Full payment is required before delivery of equipment. Prices quoted are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2. Delivery and Collection
The specified sunbed will be delivered and collected from the same address as stated on the Company hire contract. Any sunbeds being kept for consecutive hire periods (after the initial rental period) must be paid for on the date the sunbed was due for collection.
3. Age Restrictions
Sunbed hire is only available to persons aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be required. Red light therapy equipment may be used by persons aged 16 and over with parental consent.
4. Health and Safety
Users must read and follow all safety instructions provided. Equipment should not be used by pregnant women or persons with certain medical conditions. Consult your doctor if you have any health concerns.
5. Equipment Care
The customer is responsible for the equipment during the hire period. Any damage or loss will be charged to the customer. Equipment must be kept in a dry, secure location.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations made 48 hours before delivery will receive a full refund minus a £25 administration fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours will forfeit the deposit.
7. Liability
Island Leisure cannot be held responsible for any injury or adverse reaction resulting from use of our equipment. Users hire equipment at their own risk.
8. Data Protection
We collect and store customer information in accordance with GDPR regulations. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
9. Complaints
Any complaints should be made in writing within 7 days of the incident. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
Safety Precautions
The following safety precautions are very IMPORTANT.
- Do not use the sunbed if you have a history of skin cancer or other serious skin conditions.
- Always consult your doctor if you have any health concerns before using the sunbed.
- Always wear protective eyewear provided during your session.
- Ensure the area around the sunbed is clear of any flammable materials.
- Do not use the sunbed if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Follow all instructions provided with the equipment.
General Usage Guidelines
- To ensure a safe and effective tanning experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Remove all cosmetics well in advance of exposure.
- Do not use standard suntan lotion or sunblock. Only use suntan creams or sprays specifically designed for sunbed use.
- Do not undergo exposure when taking medicines which increase the sensitivity to ultra-violet radiation. If in doubt, take medical advice.
- Do not expose any part of the body more than once a day and do not sunbathe the same day.
- Adhere to recommendations concerning exposure times, intervals between exposure and distances from the lamp.
- Seek medical advice if persistent lumps, sores or pigmented moles develop on the skin.
- Do not use the sunbed in the bathroom.
- No parts are user serviceable.
- Do not remove any parts or attempt to dismantle this unit.
- Do not cover or restrict any ventilation holes.
- It is recommended that the unit is positioned 3-9 inches away from the body.
- Avoid unnecessary movement of the unit.
